en ● International Health گزارش کوتاه Short Communication <div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><span style="line-height:2;"><span lang="EN">One of the ways to improve breastfeeding status is to identify factors related to adjustment of breastfeeding self-efficacy.</span> This study was conducted to determine the breastfeeding self-efficacy status and it&rsquo;s affecting factors in <span lang="EN">social security</span> Hospital of <span lang="EN">Zahedan</span> in 2024. This cross- sectional study consisted of 228 mothers who were admitted to the postpartum unit of the <span lang="EN">social security</span> Hospital of Zahedan, Iran, during the last 24 hours. Eligible <span lang="EN">mothers were selected using convenience sampling method from April to June 1403.</span> The data were collected using demographic - obstetric questionnaire and short form of breastfeeding self-efficacy scale and analyzed using <span lang="EN">Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis and </span><span lang="EN">Spearman correlation</span><span dir="RTL" lang="AR-SA">.</span> <span lang="EN" style="font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif"></span><br> Mean and standard deviation of<span lang="EN"> breastfeeding self-efficacy was 47.02 &plusmn; 11.92.
