en ● Psychosocial Health مقاله مروری Review Article <div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><span style="line-height:2;"><b>Background:</b> The Cinderella complex is a widespread psychological and cultural phenomenon that limits women&rsquo;s independence. <span lang="EN-IN"><span style="background:white"><span style="color:#28333d">Women with the Cinderella complex often feel inadequate and rely on men for emotional and economic support, which can lead to low productivity, lack of self-confidence, and avoidance of leadership roles. This research critically investigated the New Trends in the Cinderella Complex. This study examined the present research status in Cinderella Complex from 2021 to 2025 and categorised the construct based on the nature of the available literature. </span></span></span><br> <b><span lang="EN-IN"><span style="background:white"><span style="color:#28333d">Methods:</span></span></span></b><span lang="EN-IN"><span style="background:white"><span style="color:#28333d"> This study conducted a systematic review using 7 electronic databases and followed the PRISMA Guidelines. The literature search included studies published between January 2021 and October 2025 across seven electronic databases. Electronic databases included PsychINFO, ProQuest, ResearchGate, PubMed, Google Scholar, ScienceDirect and Cochrane Library. Two research team members independently reviewed and determined the inclusion of each study. Each study was appraised and validated for quality by using the JBICAT Instrument. Content analysis was used for data analysis. </span></span></span><br> <b><span lang="EN-IN"><span style="background:white"><span style="color:#28333d">Results: </span></span></span></b><span lang="EN-IN"><span style="background:white"><span style="color:#28333d">Out of 85, 551 records, only 10 studies fulfilled the eligibility criteria.
